Course Rules & Player Regulations

Beaver Creek is a public facility dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience for everyone. By teeing off, purchasing a green fee, or renting a cart, you agree to abide by all course rules, safety regulations, and staff directions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

1. Pace of Play

  • Group Size: Standard groups are limited to a maximum of 4 players. Fivesomes are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by the clubhouse prior to teeing off.

  • Starting Hole: All players must start on Hole #1 . Players may start on Hole #10 if approved by the clubhouse.

  • Walkers Must Yield: Walking the course is welcome! However, walking players must maintain the standard pace of play and promptly yield to faster-moving cart groups to prevent delays.

  • Target Pace: A standard 18-hole round should take no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes.

  • Keep Up: Please maintain your position directly behind the group in front of you. If you cannot finish your round, please visit the club house to see if a “rain check” is appropriate for your circumstances.

  • Ready Golf: If your group is falling behind and delaying others, please allow faster groups to play through.

2. Golf Cart Policy

  • Age Requirement: Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart.

  • Restricted Areas: Carts must remain on paths near all tee boxes and must never be driven within 30 yards of any green. Do not drive golf carts in wooded areas.

3. General RULES

  • Attire: Proper golf attire is required. Shirts must be worn at all times. Non-metal spikes or soft-soled athletic shoes only.

  • Respect Staff and Players: Loud or disruptive behavior, abusive language, or damaging course property will result in removal from the premises without a refund.

Have fun and enjoy your round! If you have any questions or need assistance during your game, please call the Clubhouse at 276-340-0412.
